When it's time to get planning for a new interior project, how do you like to get inspired?
Of course, we have the option of a good old-fashioned mood board when mapping out a new project or forecasting new trends. Piece by piece you create a vision for your interiors and, once you've got a board you're completely in love with, you're ready to get the project rolling!
That said, sometimes a good scroll through your favourite blog or Instagram feed can be a brilliant way of building up a bank of inspiration without the effort of putting a mood board together.
If you're an interior addict (like us), then keeping up to date with a few Instagrammers or bloggers is a brilliant way of gradually collecting interior inspiration, which you can keep locked away in the back of your mind ready to tap into next time you're decorating or moving.

Our absolute number 1 for interior inspiration on Instagram has to go to Melia Malmquist and her stunning feed Contemporary Life. Her soft styling, clean and crisp colour story, and love for plants really shine through, providing a beautiful snapshot into her real home and real life. We caught up with Melia to find out what inspires her most and what she thinks truly makes a house a home:
"Creating a beautiful and personal home is to me about being kind to yourself. It's about using materials you love and only surrounding you with things that have a function and are beautiful to you. But more than anything our homes are where life happens, and they're they're not complete without the people in it."
